Job Overview:

They are seeking a Project Lead to provide overall leadership and oversight for the implementation, monitoring, and successful delivery of the Bridge Together: Connecting Service Providers and Refugees for Seamless Support project. The Project Lead will be accountable for ensuring that all project activities, milestones, deliverables, expenditures, and reporting requirements are completed in accordance with the funding agreement, approved workplan, budget, timelines, and contractual expectations. The Project Lead will also work closely with the project consultant to establish and implement an effective evaluation process, monitor project outcomes, analyze findings, and ensure the completion of the required project evaluation report.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall implementation of the Bridge Together project, ensuring activities, timelines, milestones, and deliverables align with the funding agreement, approved workplan, and expected outcomes.

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions to ensure contractual requirements and timelines are met.

  • Recruit, supervise, and provide direction to project staff and consultants, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, workplans, and deliverables.

  • Lead the Project Advisory Committee, engaging service providers, refugee sponsorship groups, refugees, and other key stakeholders in project development, testing, improvement including the refinement of the Settlement Framework

  • Develop and implement stakeholder outreach and engagement strategies, including participant recruitment, eligibility criteria, and participation agreements.

  • Oversee the implementation and improvement of the digital platform to support knowledge sharing, promising practices, and collaboration among stakeholders.

  • Work with Consultant to develop and oversee the beta-testing process, including participant engagement, implementation, feedback collection, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

  • Work with the evaluation consultant to establish and implement the project evaluation framework, monitor outcomes, analyze findings, and complete required evaluation reports.

  • Establish effective monitoring and documentation processes to track project activities, participation, outputs, outcomes, challenges, and lessons learned.

  • Manage and monitor the project budget, expenditures, and variances to ensure compliance with the approved budget and funding requirements.

Qualifications:

  • University degree or a combination of relevant education and experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably in a non-profit or community sector environment, with a focus on settlement, sponsorship group community, and refugee support

  • Minimum of two years of experience managing and leading teams

  • Strong knowledge of government funding processes

  • Experience writing proposals and managing government funding

  • Experience facilitating capacity –building activities and developing leadership skills in others

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the newcomer and refugee service delivery sector

  • Knowledge of community engagement and capacity-building processes

  • Ability to build and maintain productive partnerships with diverse stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills required to work with clients, team members and the general public

  • Demonstrated budget experience including maintaining cashflow and preparing financial reports

  • Experience working in a very diverse, multi-cultural workplace and a strong understanding of building and sustaining a successful, respectful, inclusive and productive work environment
