About this opportunity:
We Are Looking For a highly accountable Senior Project Finance Accountant (PFA) with strong expertise in accounting, IFRS 15, SAP, and contract assessment, capable of managing projects end-to-end with accuracy, compliance, and business impact.You will work in a high-impact role connecting finance, business, and delivery, with real influence on project performance and decisions.This position offers growth beyond finance, with exposure to contracts, commercial strategy, and project execution, plus opportunities to join special projects, transformation initiatives, and digital/AI efforts.It is a strong opportunity to develop into CPM, Finance Business Partner, or leadership roles, while driving value creation and financial excellence.
What you will do:Perform contract accounting assessment (IFRS 15 / AD09) and maintain DRRES.Set up and manage SAP financial structures aligned with contract, billing, and revenue logic.Control revenue and cost recognition (PoC), ensuring accuracy and compliance.Analyze and resolve balance sheet positions (WIP, RUC, UB, DR) with clear corrective actions.Manage incentives and TPA, ensuring proper accounting treatment.Execute invoicing, billing adjustments, and dispute support.Ensure governance and compliance (SOX, ABC, audits, closing).Drive SAP closure with clean and compliant financials.Provide financial analysis and insights, identifying risks and opportunities.Act as a trusted advisor, influencing stakeholders and defending accounting decisions.
Desirable: Ericsson/Telecom experience, (CPM, Planner), multi-country projects, digital/AI tools.
The skills you bring:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or 5+ years in project accounting or controlling.Strong knowledge of IFRS 15, revenue recognition, and contract assessment.Advanced SAP experience (project & finance processes).Proven experience in balance sheet control (WIP, RUC, UB, DR).Understanding of SOX, controls, and audit requirements.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills.English: Advance (communicate and defend positions).Strong ownership mindset with end-to-end accountability.Analytical, structured, and solution-driven.Balances accounting rigor with business understanding.Proactive and hands-on in resolving issues.Acts with integrity and governance discipline.Confident to challenge and influence stakeholders.
Skills Required
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field OR 5+ years in project accounting/controlling
- Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 and contract accounting assessment (AD09)
- Advanced SAP experience (project and finance processes, financial structures, SAP closure)
- Experience controlling revenue and cost recognition (PoC) and performing contract/billing logic alignments
- Proven balance sheet control experience (WIP, RUC, UB, DR) and corrective actions
- Understanding of SOX, internal controls, audits, and closing governance
- Ability to execute invoicing, billing adjustments, dispute support, and manage incentives/TPA accounting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, execution skills and end-to-end ownership mindset
- Advanced English communication skills to defend accounting positions with stakeholders
