The Opportunity:
CACI is looking to hire a Project Engineer to support the US Navy team spearheading research & development (R&D) of new and innovative solutions for Operational Logistics (OPLOG). This individual will utilize their background in marine, electrical, and shipboard engineering and their project management experience to review technical materials and guide OPLOG projects through execution.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside government team to manage project portfolio
- Manage multiple operational logistics projects, including technical requirements, cost, and schedule.
- Utilize engineering expertise to review project materials and provide feedback and recommendations. Projects can range from studies/analyses to work packages, TEMPALTs, and other ship alterations
- Monitor project progress, funding, and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, or related field)
- Experience with Navy or DoD 7+ years of experience in engineering, project management, or a related role
- 2+ years Experience managing engineering projects
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Desired:
- Active DoD Secret clearance Experience with NAVSEA

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
