This Position reports to:
Senior Engineering ManagerYour role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your knowledge by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

This role is contributing to the Automation – Energy Division in Bangalore- India Region
You will be mainly accountable for:
Handling projects capably under the guidance of a Project Lead Engineer, ensuring completion of engineering and commissioning activities.
Developing Distributed Control Systems (any DCS) solutions, including configuration, programming, and customization to meet project requirements.
Installing DCS systems at customer sites, ensuring proper integration with existing infrastructure.
Executing commissioning activities such as system validation, loop checks, and functional testing to guarantee performance.
Conducting site visits, with domestic travel exceeding 70% of work time.
Collaborating with project teams to align engineering deliverables with customer documentation and specifications.
Supporting project closure by preparing As‑Built documents and ensuring smooth handover to customers..
Qualifications for the role:
You enjoy working with industrial automation in the pharma and chemicals market.
You have 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial automation DCS commissioning in process automation industry.
You possess enhanced knowledge of 800xA.
You are motivated by stakeholder management and team management.
You have a diploma or degree in engineering, in instrumentation or chemical engineering.
You are comfortable communicating verbally and in writing in English.
