Job Description:
DTN is seeking to hire a Project Engineer to join our team full-time. The Project Engineer will keep engineering projects on time and on a budget, as well as monitor activities such as procurement, quality control and system configuration. The Project Engineer shall be responsible for the day to day running of engineering processes. This individual will also work closely with other levels of management such us business development teams, supporting service level agreements with customers and negotiate with third parties when needed.

What you will be responsible for:
- Translating client requirements into practical terms that can be implemented by a team
- Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests, including text related to network and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving technical issues in networks and telecommunications.
- Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborating across interdisciplinary teams
What you will bring to the role:
- Familiarization with projects lifecycle
- Relevant engineering, with a good understanding of TCP/IP networks and telecommunications.
- Fluent in Spanish or English
- Teamwork-oriented mindset
- Availability to travel.
Preferred skills:
- Experience in related industry is a plus.
- Aviation-specific experience preferred.
- Cybersecurity basics
- Windows administration
- Windows Subsystem for Linux
- Postgres databases
Compensation:
The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between €26,250 and € 35,000 annually. DTN is a pay-for-performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experiences, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity, and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market-competitive variable pay and benefits.
