Price Industries Inc. is on the search for a Project Engineer for our growing US office and manufacturing facility located in Lawrenceville, GA. This position will support customers quickly and efficiently through email and phone calls. You will support company sales and profit goals related to a specific product category or product. Also, you will provide technical support to internal and external customers to facilitate the specification and sale of the business unit products, including guidance on product application, performance, troubleshooting, competitive analysis, sales and pricing of product and services.

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:

Initial Phase: Get Up to Speed

  • Dive into learning about Terminal products, market strategy, and engineering workflows.
  • Train hands-on in our state-of-the-art Tech Center.
  • Enhance your education in HVAC Systems, air distribution, and other electrical systems.
  • Provide phone and email support to the internal and external sales teams and reps with customer engineering requests and technical product assistance.
  • Get acquainted with our software to enhance product sales, specifications, and product performance evaluations.
  • Prepare and coordinate quotations and submittals to support Price sales representatives, Price Sales Area Managers, and Price Account Managers

Intermediate Phase: Deepen Your Expertise

  • Expand your knowledge of our Terminal products.
  • Understand internal projects, product launches, and sales strategies led by the Project Engineering Team.
  • Assisting external customers with application support, bids, submissions, and installation guidance.
  • Post-Sales support including training, system installation, and any troubleshooting needed
  • Support sales by providing guidance on product competitiveness, support of the bid process, leading customer visits (internal and external), and project management from initial contact through final client sign-off.

Advanced Phase: Take on New Challenges

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Sales, and Account Managers to drive sales goals and strategies.
  • Play a key role in sales training events both at headquarters and across North America.
  • Support new product launches through sales, performance analysis, and research initiatives.

Future Growth Opportunities

  • Take charge of on-site project management by working closely with contractors, engineers, and sales representatives.
  • Lead industry education efforts with webinars, presentations, and product shows, both virtually and in-person across North America.
  • Engage with engineering societies and contribute to industry standards, including ASHRAE, AHRI, and EGM.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

  • A College Diploma or University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 1+ year in applications, customer support or technical role.
  • New graduates with prior internships will be considered
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
  • A process-driven mindset, self-motivation and the ability to take initiative.
  • Aptitude and desire for excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment to meet timeline-dependent deliverables.
  • The ability to collaborate with co-workers and Managers to resolve issues and conflicts.
