Job Description

Responsible for supporting ETO project execution, engineering activities, and product lifecycle management for AMAT and other strategic business programs. The role includes reviewing customer specifications, engineering drawings, and technical requirements, coordinating engineering changes, supporting prototype development, generating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOM), and ensuring smooth transition of products into manufacturing.

The Project Engineer will coordinate cross-functional project tasks, track project performance, identify risks and corrective actions, and serve as a key point of contact for project status, engineering deliverables, and technical support. Additionally, the role provides engineering support to internal stakeholders, customers, and Rockwell Automation Field Sales Offices as required.

You will report to the Global Business Manager and have a hybrid schedule working in Singapore.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support project execution activities and coordinate engineering deliverables to meet customer and business requirements.

  • Drive engineering change management, product transfers, and manufacturing readiness activities.

  • Review customer specifications, drawings, and technical requirements to ensure compliance and manufacturability.

  • Coordinate the generation and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOM), drawings, engineering documentation, and product records.

  • Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Sales teams to support project objectives.

  • Support prototype builds, validation activities, and implementation of engineering improvements.

  • Manage project schedules, milestones, risks, and action items to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Support manufacturing issue resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.

  • Provide post-sales engineering support for customer inquiries, field issues, product improvements, and sustaining engineering activities.

  • Support alternate sourcing, localization, and cost reduction initiatives.

  • Serve as an internal focal point for project status, engineering updates, and technical coordination.

  • Conduct all activities in compliance with applicable health, safety, quality, environmental regulations, and Rockwell Automation procedures.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Electrical Engineering Degree or Equivalent

  • At least 5 years' experience on electrical engineering Power and Control System design

  • Be familiar with Engineering to order business, UL Standards, NEC.

  • Project management experience will be Recommended

  • Electrical Power and Control Panel Design

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Someone who worked closely with engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams

  • Experience in supporting project deliverables, resolve technical issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
