The RoleProject Development is a crucial capability in OSI India’s project delivery function.
In this role, the developers will be taking care of 2 key aspects : a) Conversion from competitor’s systems to AspenTech DGM monarch platform, b) Creating custom applications as required to meet the project technical specifications. Developers will need to work on both projects in India and across multiple global areas such as USA, Australia, Netherlands, UK.
Your Impact
- Understand DGM's monarch platform, the structure of underlying databases in SCADA, FEP, ICCP, EMS, etc. and OSI’s proprietary CHRONUS high speed enterprise historian
- Discuss project requirements with project engineering and other teams. Distribute tasks within and across the teams as necessary.
- Understand structure of competitor system database, displays, enterprise historian and reports, and devise logics to convert / migrate to DGM’s platform
- Gather technical requirements of projects for custom development, and implement backend + frontend to achieve the same
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Automate routine tasks in project delivery to drive higher efficiency in activities.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor of science in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Electrical engineering, or related field with hands-on experience in scripting & applications development.
- Strong technical background in application development and hands-on with object oriented programming
- C# development skills plus hands-on experience in any of the following: Asp.Net, Html/JavaScript and basic SQL.
- Good design and debugging skills and Confidence to contribute ideas and solutions.
- Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel without compromising quality of project delivery.
