Responsible for industrial projects by organizing and controlling project elements in support of the engineering strategy. Provide the necessary technical evaluations and quantification of project variables to ensure successful operation of completed installations. Develop, engineer, and analyze electrical and automation systems and technology for improving efficiencies on existing or new systems. Develop process code in the field to support expansions as well as improve plant infrastructure. Perform engineering calculations to support design work and create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software. Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget. Compile and report all budgetary elements of engineering and construction projects. Design, install and commission new production units, monitoring modifications and upgrades, and troubleshooting existing processes.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or closely related engineering field plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as an electric engineer. Must have experience with RSLogix 500 & 5000, Studio 5000, RSlinx, BootP, Factorytalk linx by Allen Bradley and CAD. 20% of domestic travel required.
