Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a seasoned Project Director with over 25 years of experience to lead the delivery of a high-profile project in Riyadh. The scope includes the delivery of amphitheater/large public venues development projects, major utility infrastructure, and acting as The Engineer under the contract. The successful candidate will oversee the design, construction, and commissioning of large-scale infrastructure
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead the full lifecycle of the project from planning through execution and handover.
Act as The Engineer under the contract, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
Manage multidisciplinary teams including consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
Oversee the delivery of major infrastructure components including WTPs, pumping stations, substations, and public realm elements.
Coordinate complex utility diversions and ensure minimal disruption to existing services.
Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and sustainability goals.
Monitor project performance, budget, schedule, and risk, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Provide strategic leadership and decision-making across all phases of the project.
Liaise with government entities, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Minimum 25 years of experience in large public venues developments.
Relevant experience in the Middle East.
Proven track record in delivering amphitheater projects in complex urban environments.
Deep technical knowledge of Theaters delivery, digital Sky and Facade; very complicated testing commissioning and ICT integration.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
