We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a major portfolio of capital works projects at Crown Perth. This is a senior leadership role within our Property Design and Development team, responsible for driving safe, high‑quality and commercially sound outcomes across complex projects delivered in live operational environments.

The Role

As the Project Director, you will provide end‑to‑end leadership across multiple projects, leading a team of Project Managers while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the delivery of major capital works projects to agreed time, cost, quality, safety and compliance standards.

  • Managing multidisciplinary work streams across design, engineering, procurement and construction.

  • Providing strong financial and commercial oversight, including forecasting, cost control, risk management and value optimisation.

  • Leading and developing high‑performing project teams, ensuring clear accountability and effective resource planning.

  • Managing projects within live environments, ensuring best‑practice governance, contract administration and reporting.

  • Building trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants, regulators and industry partners.

  • Providing clear, timely reporting to executives to support informed decision‑making and a “no surprises” approach.

About You

  • Significant experience in senior project management or project leadership roles within the building and construction industry.

  • Proven delivery of large, complex capital works portfolios, ideally within hospitality or operational environments.

  • Strong commercial, financial and risk management capability across the full project lifecycle.

  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, with the ability to lead, mentor and influence diverse teams.

  • Well‑developed stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
