PROJECT COORDINATOR

Location: Eden Prairie, MN | Hybrid
Schedule: Full-Time
Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 (based on experience)

EVS is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of multidisciplinary engineering projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping projects moving, coordinating across teams, and ensuring that details never fall through the cracks.

As a Project Coordinator, you'll work closely with Technical Project Managers, Multidisciplinary Project Managers, and Project Administrators to support project schedules, documentation, communication, and administrative activities. You'll play an important role in helping project teams stay organized, meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional client service.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Support project teams with day-to-day project coordination and administrative activities
  • Assist with project setup, documentation management, and project tracking activities
  • Maintain project files, contracts, correspondence, and project records within company systems
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including scheduling, agendas, meeting notes, and follow-up actions
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines to help ensure successful project execution
  • Prepare and distribute project status updates, reports, and client communications
  • Maintain accurate project information within project management and collaboration platforms
  • Assist with budget tracking, invoicing support, and financial documentation coordination
  • Support subconsultant coordination, contract administration, and project documentation workflows
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, finance, and administrative teams to support project needs
  • Help ensure compliance with company processes, quality standards, and client requirements
  • Identify potential project coordination issues and proactively communicate them to project leadership

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Communications, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project administration, operations support, or a related role
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience with project management or collaboration tools such as SharePoint, MS Project, Procore, Ajera, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across departments and teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to supporting project success
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Professionalism, accountability, and a strong customer-service mindset
