The Security Team at dentsu are seeking a Project Coordinator to join their Security Transformation Programme. In this Junior role they report into the Security Project Manager and support the delivery of ongoing security initiatives across the dentsu environment. They will assist with overall planning and delivery management of complex projects. They will be expected to take on the responsibility for supporting the delivery of these projects and work package to completion.
Job Description:
Key accountabilities
• Actively reports into and supports the Security Project Manager in the delivery of a defined programme of work
• Prioritises own workload across projects and team tasks, and comfortable calling out scheduling conflicts
• Ensures that project tasks are documented, owned and reported against in line with the Project Management methodology
• Actively identifies, projects risks and issues. Records correctly and works with the programme to prioritise and mitigate
• Communicates with project stakeholders at all levels across the business and in a timely manner
• Carries out project activities using the standard project management toolkit
• Provides clear, accurate and timely status reports on their ongoing project activities
• Organises, supports and records key project meetings
• Contributes as a team player and enjoys being empowered to deliver
Professional skills
• Ideally has a Business/Project Management qualification or has held a junior role in a project environment
• Commercially aware with a good understanding of project structure, roles and responsibilities, risks and issues
• Has sufficient experience in the IT industry and ideally Cyber Security
• Expert user of the Microsoft Office products
• Able to demonstrate strong project management abilities
• Keen to learn, develop and grow within the team
• Understands the complete project life cycle
• Able to keep track of multiple projects, stay organised and manage their time well
• Self-motivated and passionate attitude to your work, with a clear focus on delivering solutions
• Has a keen grasp of IT operations and business processes and able to use such knowledge to link to each project
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• A team player with experience of working collaboratively and in a team environment
• Experience in managing stakeholders and able to adapt the approach/style to different individuals and teams
• Governance and risk management awareness
