Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Reviewing and entering new orders into ERP system
- Detailed Purchase Order or Contract review of new projects, for assigned region(s)
- Monitors and maintains specific project and delivery schedules
- Developing detailed project plans or schedules to meet project milestones and deliverables
- Determine project needs through technical details and schedules
- Creating submittal for customer review including but not limited to technical documentation, quality documentation, shipping documents, progress reports, etc.
- Revenue forecasting and risk analysis for each order/project
- Prepares progress reports and updates.
- Fosters strong internal and external partnerships
- Streamlines interdepartmental communication
- Provide support to the Project Management Team related to overseas Expediting (Customer and Vendor escalation)
- Assisting Accounting with customer account maintenance
- Troubleshooting internal and external customer issues, including credit, duplicate orders, emergency requests, etc.
- Other duties & projects as assigned
Skills & Requirements
- BA/BS Degree and/or equivalent work experience of 2-4 years in order management/project coordinator/project management field with proven track record of successful order execution
- Customer service oriented, with excellent communication skills
- Must be reliable, self-directed and capable of working independently, with the ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously and use sound judgment in prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proactive, team-oriented person who can anticipate needs, take initiative with excellent follow-through and requires minimal direction or supervision.
- Must be organized and detailed, as well as process-oriented with the ability to work under deadlines and time constraints.
- Experience with manufacturing environment or technical projects a plus.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Project and Excel, experience with report generation a plus
- Knowledge and experience with domestic and international export preferred, including but not limited to: Incoterms and Letters of Credit.
