Overview
• The TNS FIN Service Delivery Project Management team is to provide a
professional project management service supporting the Financial
Services clients of TNS.
• The Project Coordinator will manage deployment projects requiring
provision and implementation of services. These projects are derived
from two sources, customers and internally.
• The Project Coordinator is expected to manage multiple concurrent
projects and to have full control of those projects during their entire
lifecycle.
• The Project Coordinator will work with guidance and supervision from the
management team.
• Projects range in size from a week to many months. In most cases the
Project Coordinator will be heavily reliant on specialist teams to deliver
their work, therefore people management is key. This does not rule out the
possibility, on occasions, of Project Coordinator having technical input and
ownership where their skills suit.
Responsibilities

Applies modern project management techniques and systems to the execution of a project from start to finish, to achieve predetermined objectives of scope, quality, time and cost, to the equal satisfaction of those involved.

Oversees dependencies and hand-offs between the cross-org project stakeholders

Actively manages stakeholder expectations from project initiation through completion.

Communicates status and issues to senior management and project stakeholders.

Coordinates cross-org team, proactively ensuring that teams are “in sync” in terms of communication, schedules, issues, dependencies, etc.

Holds stakeholders accountable for their project responsibilities / deliverables.

Creates and manages overall project plan, including leverage of project team resources to provide level of effort estimates. Actively tracks and reports on approved schedule vs. actual for key milestones, as well as monitoring the critical path of overall project.

Effectively conducts meetings, including creation and clear communication of agenda and meeting minutes.

Manages formal change control process including Change Control Board oversight where applicable. Correct implementation of the change control process.

Identifies, mitigates, and prioritizes, manages and drives resolution of project issues, actions, constraints, dependencies and risks. Proactively identifies risk areas and critical items that need to be done to keep project on track. For issues and risks ensures an action plan, mitigation plan and owners are identified.

In driving / guiding project, applies knowledge of: TNS PM best practices; functional / organizational processes; and TNS product / business in driving / guiding the end-to-end project.

Active participation in continuous improvement of PM best practices as well as knowledge sharing.

Produce all relevant documentation in line with the departmental procedures; this may include the participation in external audits.

Provide regular project status reports.

Identify, via a risk log, and manage business and project risks, including the development of contingency plans via the nominated risk owners.

Formally manage issues through to resolution and utilise the escalation path where necessary.

Responsible for managing the internal and external dependencies that may influence the project.

Liaise, closely, with the project sponsors to assure the overall direction and integrity of the project

Be responsible for project administration.

Liaise with any Suppliers and account managers.

Assist, as required, with the management of standard work requests.

Maintain professional standards by keeping abreast of the latest trends and techniques.

Maintain an understanding of the technologies and products within TNS.
Qualifications

Competent in report and project documentation writing.

Worked as a Project Coordinator or Manager for at least two years within the technology sectors.

For this role, we anticipate paying $55,500k - $75,300 annually. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
