Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Commercial Flooring team, specializing in new construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring that project timelines are met, quality standards are upheld, and the department operates efficiently despite current staffing challenges. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, vendors, and clients to maintain project momentum and deliver high-quality flooring solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract review
- Document submittals
- Sample submittals
- Purchase order tracker creation
- Labor contract requests
- Work orders
- Entry
- Review
- Submit/Send
- Review and add materials in SAP
- Review and add labor in SAP
- Receiving and dispatching materials
- Weekly updates in Monday.com
- Pay installers
- Invoice tracking and matching with payments in SAP
- Change Orders
- Close outs
- PO clean up
- Labor invoice clean up (pay or remove)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within the construction or commercial flooring industry
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically and act quickly.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (SAP & Monday.com)
