The PITCH.

As a Project Coordinator you will help support the wider team in the daily management and relationship building between the client and the agency. You are responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the account for the agency, developing effective working relationships with key client contacts.

This is not a role for someone who likes to take a back seat in life as you will be at the front of this account getting involved with solving problems, pushing best practice, attending meetings, drafting internal and external comms and keeping a track of the progress of all projects across the agency.

Here’s where you come in…

  • Assist in the day-to-day management and execution of projects, working closely with each member of internal departments (Creative, Strategy, Client Services, Media, Ops) ensuring each milestone is met on time and within budget
  • Supporting the account team in the development and preparation of presentations, performance reviews and reports for the clients.
  • Assist with tracking project financial health of projects, and ensuring it is shared and assessed
  • Schedule necessary project-related meetings such as kickoffs, brainstorms, and internal reviews, and ensure the right people are seeing the right things before presenting to client
  • A brand guardian  - helping to keep the team updated re what’s going on in your clients world, knowing their competitors and keeping your teams up to speed on the latest trends and developments in their sectors.
  • Write client SOWs, vendor agreements, change orders, and other contract documents for the lead PM to review
  • Manage many variations of digital and social content (video, image, websites, etc), ensuring quality control, and delivering/trafficking all assets to required agency partners/media teams/clients
  • Keep VaynerMedia values at the core of what you do, that restless energy and desire push boundaries and to do more, but also the ability to muck in with the team.

We treasure Personality and Experience yet we do know that these qualifications lead to what WE KNOW as a success:

  • Is a highly organised, hard working, enthusiastic self-starter who is excited to be a driving part of the creative and content development process
  • Has 1-2 experience managing projects, coordinating teams, and/or other planning-related duties, with desire to develop the project management and delivery function in a creative business environment
  • Has a cool, calm and collected approach to problem solving, while remaining positive and collaborative
  • The ability to adapt quickly, plan ahead and flag to your team when you see there may be potential sticking points down the line.
  • A passion and real love for all things social, with an understanding of relevant social media platforms and their requirements.
  • Has experience in writing formal and/or business documents such as contracts and/or proposals
  • Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.

What you SHOULD KNOW about VaynerMedia

Think “lab” and not “agency”. We get excited about solving business problems, not creating advertising for the sake of making advertising. Our entrepreneurship DNA runs deep. We’re willing to break rules, try new things, and test hypotheses if it means better understanding our craft. It’s fun!

We believe 100% that brands can be built on digital platforms and part of our model is built bottom up, flipping the traditional advertising model and process on its head. We don’t play to agency/industry norms and our culture and energy reflects that.

Our environment (and pace) feels much more like a start-up than most agencies you might be used to. Hopefully that, and the opportunity to collaborate with the talented and enthusiastic crew, work with big brands excites you, as it does us. We can’t wait to meet you.

What We Do

VaynerMedia is a global creative and media agency with offices in New York, Los Angeles, London, Singapore and Mexico City. We work differently because we’re built differently. We are consumer-centric, not boardroom-centric; We respect the internet's impact on culture, not Madison Avenue’s; We have the humility and curiosity to find what’s right, not to debate it for months on end; We are all practitioners; We scale the unscalable; We value real consumer signals; We create ideas consumer-up, not ego-down; We believe that it’s our responsibility to deliver business results for our clients.
