Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and organised Project Coordinator to join our Commercial Projects team in Port Melbourne. Working closely with Project Managers, engineers, contractors, suppliers and clients, you'll help coordinate the delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects from planning through to completion. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities, building strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. You'll play a key role in supporting project delivery while contributing to the growth of Australia's EV charging network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects to meet quality, budget and timeline requirements.
  • Support Project Managers with subcontractor engagement, contracts and project administration.
  • Coordinate suppliers to ensure materials and equipment are delivered on schedule.
  • Monitor project progress and assist with risk management and issue resolution.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and support the implementation of safety and environmental standards.
  • Prepare project updates, reports and stakeholder communications.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing project updates and responding to enquiries.
  • Build positive relationships with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support proposal preparation and participate in customer meetings when required.

About You

You are a highly organised coordinator with strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and are comfortable taking ownership of tasks, solving problems and finding practical solutions. Ideally, you'll bring experience from the electrical, construction, infrastructure or renewable energy sectors, along with a genuine interest in contributing to Australia's transition to sustainable transport.

Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating projects within construction, electrical, infrastructure or related industries.
  • Understanding of electrical, building or infrastructure project environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience working with contractors, suppliers and external customers.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with solar, EV charging or electrical infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
