ABM Electrical Power Solutions is seeking a Project Coordinator to support daily operations, project execution, scheduling, documentation, invoicing, and administrative functions within the Electrical Power Solutions business. Under the direction of the Operations Resource Manager and in collaboration with Project Managers, field personnel, and leadership, this position serves as a key operational resource supporting electrical testing, commissioning, maintenance, engineering, and power systems projects. The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating schedules, supporting project administration, maintaining project records, assisting with invoicing and collections activities, and ensuring efficient communication between customers, field personnel, project managers, and internal stakeholders.

ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
  • Coordinate and maintain weekly work schedules for field personnel and project resources.
  • Assist with dispatching field personnel and coordinating labor assignments based on project requirements.
  • Support project managers with project scheduling, startup activities, and project administration.
  • Coordinate customer scheduling requests, site assessments, project mobilization activities, and project tracking requirements.
  • Maintain project schedules, tracking tools, customer portals, and reporting systems.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple assignments and operational requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Create, maintain, and organize project documentation, records, and project files.
  • Open and maintain project records within company ERP and accounting systems.
  • Process project invoicing and review billing information for completeness and accuracy.
  • Support accounts receivable activities, including customer follow-up regarding outstanding invoices and delinquent payments.
  • Reconcile receipts, expense reports, and project-related expenditures utilizing company expense management systems.
  • Coordinate procurement requests, office supplies, and administrative support functions as required.
  • Assist with project reporting, backlog tracking, resource planning, and operational reporting.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, field personnel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support compliance with company policies, customer requirements, safety documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of business operations.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project coordination, operations support, scheduling, office administration, accounting support, field service coordination, or related roles.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing operations and service-related activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business management systems.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and organizing schedules, reports, project documentation, and customer communications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
