Job Overview:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Project Manager and discipline leads in the planning, execution, and completion of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong communication, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety.
Job Responsibilities
- Support Project Controls resources including cost, scheduling and job books.
- Support the PM with deliverable tracking and schedule progressing.
- Provide Coordination of deliverables between engineering and design resources.
- Provide technical support for cross-discipline interfaces and checking.
- Provide coordination between Procurement and Engineering for vendor drawing reviews and expediting technical feedback to vendors.
- This role can be considered a junior-PM role and may have career development opportunities in Project Management, Project Controls or Procurement functions on a project team.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Understanding of project management methodologies
- Understanding of project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of engineering management and EPC execution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Education and Work Experience
- 2+ years of industry related experience
- BS Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
