Brief Job Description: 

  • The purpose of this position is to provide post-sales engineering review and support for won projects in Australian and New Zealand. Provide guidance and expertise on critical infrastructure projects, including the application and installation of Vertiv products and services, including support with approved third-party vendors and internal teams, to facilitate smooth deployment of major projects undertaken by the business.

Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each:

  • Support Post Sales Engineering in daily administrative activities
  • Maintain open and frequent communication with the Post Sales Engineering team to ensure priorities are set and expectations are clear
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Post Sales Engineering such as maintaining sharepoint, raising COR’s, following up internally for COR’s and PO issuance 
  • Project closing – assist in chasing suppliers/contractors for Pos and receipting in system to allow Finance to close projects to achieve forecasted targets
  • Compile project installation & operations manuals
  • Submissions of documents to customer via portals such as Aconex, Procore etc. 
  • Maintain document submission register and sit in during handover meetings to ensure correct documentation provided to the Post Sales Engineering team
  • Follow up outstanding internal & external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of document control systems, be able to assist the Post Sales Engineering team with document uploads, returns & filing
  • Assist the team when Engineers are on leave
  • Assist with month-end activities
  • Be the central point of contact for the team’s internal & external queries
  • Arrange meetings, including sending meeting agendas, meeting minutes, invitee lists, book rooms 
  • Record, register, control & maintain all documentation for the team
  • Retrieve necessary information (e.g. customer/team documents, requirement, deliverables, etc

Continuous Improvement:

  • At the end of each project, develop, in conjunction with the Project Managers, a list of Lessons Learned on the project and schedule a discussion with the PSA team to walk through the document. The purpose of this step is to promote a higher level of understanding to the PSA team and improve the quality of submissions that go out to our customers.

Qualifications:

Required/ Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Technical education (degree is nice to have but not a must)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Language skills: Local  
  • Basic technical knowledge of the Vertiv product portfolio 

Additional / Preferred Qualifications: - 

  • Strong computer skills – MS Office; MS Projects
  • Previous experience working with projects, project management or engineering teams
  • English writing and presentation skills
  • ACAD drawing skills would be an advantage
  • Document Management and Control
