This is a broad, fast-paced role suited to a proactive go-getter with exceptional communication skills, able to build strong relationships across a diverse stakeholder group and confidently engage external partners such as industry associations, government bodies, and travel and marketing agencies.
As the Project Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for providing high-level operational support in the implementation and delivery of the Centre’s projects and key administrative functions. This role is a key contributor to the effective delivery of Project reports, Centre governance activities and strategic initiatives ensuring alignment with Government, College procedures and University policies.
As the Project Coordinator, you will work collaboratively and provide high-quality, accurate and timely administrative support to your line manager, academic colleagues, and broader project team. This may include project governance, project planning, project event support, project documentation, marketing and communications, and responding to complex project-related queries and other tasks as required.
To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
Ability to coordinate a broad range of tasks, deliver high levels of customer service and meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
Experience delivering quality, compliant administrative processes to support management and academic (HE) staff with program quality requirements.
Proven initiative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently while following relevant policies and procedures.
Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet conflicting deadlines as a flexible team member.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with professionalism, tact, discretion, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to learn and implement new systems and procedures and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
High-level proficiency with information and communication technologies, including Office 365, strong attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to new IT environments.
