Job Title: Project Co-ordinator – NPDI Busbar PL
Function/Department: Busbar Product Line (PL)
Reports to: Senior Manager Global Programme Management - NPDI
Location: RAK, UAE
JOB SUMMARY:
The Project co-ordinator is responsible and accountable for the cross-functional management of new product development and sustaining projects. These projects range in complexity that span functions, organizations, geographic regions, and cultures. The Project co-ordinator coordinates the efforts of engineering, manufacturing, manufacturing, procurement, quality, production, logistics, and other cross functional groups to optimize time to Expedite NPDI projects . The Project co-ordinator must build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with project stakeholders at multiple levels, specifically with internal departments and sections, to ensure success of the projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate cross-functional planning and project execution, ensuring the project is delivered on time
- Monitor project tasks to be done by other departments and ensure activities are finished on time
- Report project progress through schedule update, to assure the project is on target for schedule
- Identify key potential issues and escalate it to higher ups to ensure that the project does not slip
- Identify key risks and prepare contingency plans
- Adhre to the the NPDI, New Product Develop & Introduction process
- Assist project team members as required
- Identify and lead continuous improvement projects
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma with 3 years experience or Bachelors degree in Engineering with 2 years experience, or other technical degree.
- Proven ability to communicate & negotiate with people in various level to accomplish tasks
- competence in problem-solving,follow, report preparation and update
- Experience in conducting meeting to ensure the progress
- Ability to quickly develop cross functional relationships to achieve project execution
- results-oriented with proven ability to accomplish goals
- knowledge with Microsoft Office 365 applications, Microsoft Project, & Smartsheet
