EllisDon uses AI tools to assist in screening and assessing applicants for this position. 

You as a Project Coordinator will: 

  • Coordinate ICAT building systems including Building Automation, Structured Cabling, Converged Networks, Digital Lighting, Nurse Call, RTLS, Access Control, CCTV, Intercoms, Audio/Visual, Power Metering, Motorized Blinds, Integrated Doors, Elevators, and related technologies.

  • Support project planning, scheduling, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and owner training activities.

  • Coordinate drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, site instructions, and design changes to ensure compliance, manage document control, and eliminate conflicts.

  • Track onsite installation progress, telecom room readiness, and field activities, working closely with site supervision to proactively identify risks and schedule impacts.

  • Assist with project cost tracking, change management, billing reviews, quality reporting, and overall reporting for ICAT scopes.

  • Coordinate integration activities across building systems using open protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, APIs, and SDKs.

  • Support commissioning, functional performance testing, temporary power/cooling requirements, and the readiness of computer rooms and telecom spaces.

  • Maintain strong day-to-day relationships with clients, consultants, trade partners, vendors, and internal project teams to ensure deliverables and deadlines are achieved.

  • Develop and maintain project tracking tools, reports, and documentation to support successful project execution.

Is this the right role for you?

  • You have a working knowledge of network and ICAT systems, principles and practices.

  • You have a construction/engineering/electronics related degree or equivalent. 

  • You have the ability to proactively identify and document any problems/conflicts and effectively manage and resolve them. 

  • You work positively within a team to achieve a common goal of completion of the project.

  • You have effective oral and written communication skills and ability to represent the company and project team in a professional manner to the stakeholders.

  • Ability to work full time on site in Toronto, ON.

The salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000
