Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to bridge the gap between our sales team and operations. As a manufacturer and supplier of residential construction products, including roof trusses and framing lumber, we need someone to support both the sales process and the logistical coordination of projects. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless communication between the sales team, customers, design teams, and production departments, driving successful project outcomes from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Sales Team: Assist the sales team with customer inquiries, preparing quotes, and processing orders.
• Project Coordination: Serve as a liaison between sales, design, production, and delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of orders.
• Customer Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates on order status, delivery schedules, and any changes to timelines or specifications.
• Field Responsibilities: Visit job sites to meet with customers, assess project needs, and ensure products are delivered and installed according to specifications. Address any on-site issues or concerns that may arise.
• Communication with Design Teams: Facilitate effective communication between the sales team and design teams, ensuring project specifications are clearly understood and aligned with customer needs.
• Order Management: Ensure all orders are entered accurately into the system, track progress, and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Scheduling: Coordinate with design, production, and logistics teams to ensure efficient delivery and installation schedules.
• Documentation: Maintain records of customer orders, quotes, contracts, and communications.
• Problem Solving: Address any concerns or issues that arise throughout the sales and production process, providing solutions that maintain customer satisfaction and project efficiency.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for streamlining processes to improve the flow of information and efficiency between departments.
Qualifications
• Experience in sales support, project coordination, or a related role, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industries.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at once.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to travel to job sites as required.
• Detail-oriented and capable of working under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with residential construction materials (roof trusses, framing lumber) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems.
