Performs the routine aspects of planning/scheduling and/or cost engineering assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic project controls principals. Using prescribed methods performs specific and limited portions of planning/scheduling and/or cost engineering assignments. Develops broad knowledge and skills in a specific practice area. Evaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects with few complex features. Collaboratively uses judgment to determine adaptations in methods for non-routine aspects of assignments. Works on small projects or portions of larger projects.
ResponsibilitiesNo managerial responsibilities at this level. Receives close supervision on unusual or difficult problems, and general review of all aspects of work. Receives direction from leads and supervisors. Interacts with staff, general public, officials, and contractors.
QualificationsBS or MS Graduate; or previous experience in other functional area.
Normally requires a minimum of two years of experience in planning/scheduling and/or cost engineering with typical experience ranging from three to seven years; but may include additional experience in other functional areas.
