Job Description- Provide document management and project controls support including but not limited to receipt, inventory, audit, tracking, storage, retrieval, and distribution of both classified and unclassified electronic, paper, and other media project data and documents according to company policy, and proper procedures for the projects.
- Maintain general and technical documents and periodical subscriptions related to projects, with the use of internal document control systems or client-specific tools.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and IT/Records Management on the proper methods of protection for project records and make recommendations on media, rotation, and procedures.
- Manage the setup and maintenance of document control/records management for multiple projects and Project Managers.
- Escalate issues and recommend resolutions to the Team Lead for timely resolution.
- Perform moderately complex tasks in compliance with service level agreements, processes, policies, and procedures.
- Propose alternatives to identified issues and assist in investigating and resolving common and unusual issues.
- Contribute to various and simultaneous process improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and increase productivity.
- Contribute specialized expertise to different assigned projects and may provide key updates to the Team Lead and Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or related technical field
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in the Engineering or Construction industry
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools
- Experience with Technical Document Control Management software (e.g. SharePoint, BluBeam, Unifier, Documentum, EDMS, Aconex EDMS, Prolog, Procore)
- Must be willing to work night shift and 3 days onsite per week
- Ability to be thorough and meticulous in completing assigned tasks and with the ability to propose ways to prevent or eliminate errors, discrepancies & issues. (Attention to Detail)
