Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Controls Data Analyst to join our team! In this role you will integrates the various engineering, scope, budget, scheduling, procurement, construction, and start-up aspects of a small project. May manage a subtask of a larger project or study in accordance with contractual obligations. Responsible for the technical excellence of the engineering functions of the project including coordination of technical disciplines, procurement of materials and equipment, and construction planning assistance. Relocation to the project site may be required during construction and start-up activities.
What You'll Be Doing:
Reporting & Dashboard Development
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI.
Automate recurring project controls reports and performance metrics.
Produce executive-level reports highlighting project status.
Develop standardized KPIs for program and portfolio reporting.
Schedule & Cost Analytics
Analyze progress trends.
Support earned value management (EVM) reporting and analysis.
Provide forecasting support.
Business Intelligence & Decision Support
Transform complex datasets into actionable insights for project leadership.
Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance improvement areas.
Process Improvement & Automation
Develop automated data extraction, transformation, and reporting solutions.
Utilize technology (Python and SQL) to streamline data processing and reporting workflows.
Improve reporting efficiency through digital tools and innovative analytical techniques.
Support digital transformation initiatives within Project Controls.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
3–7 years of experience in project controls, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline.
Experience supporting large-scale construction, infrastructure, engineering, or capital projects is preferred.
Experience developing Power BI dashboards and managing project performance reporting.
