Job Description

Join TAL’s Infrastructure and Operations team as a Project Coordinator and play a vital role in shaping the technology that helps us protect this Australian life. Supporting our Cloud Modernisation Program, this role helps create the strong, reliable and future-ready foundations our business needs to serve customers with care, confidence and continuity. By enabling progress across a complex transformation, you’ll contribute to TAL’s broader ambition to be a progressive, digitally enabled leading insurer—helping more Australians live a life filled with choices, options and freedoms. It’s meaningful work with lasting impact, because behind every improvement in how we operate is a better experience for the people who rely on us when it matters most.

In this role you will:

  • Coordinate governance forums that keep the program aligned, informed and moving forward.
  • Drive clear actions and decisions that improve accountability and delivery momentum.
  • Maintain accurate program reporting that gives leaders confidence in progress and priorities.
  • Manage governance records and evidence that support transparency, control and audit readiness.
  • Support stage-gate and assurance activities that strengthen delivery quality and informed decision-making.
  • Embed consistent governance standards that improve ways of working across the program.

Qualifications

  • Bring experience supporting project or program governance in a complex delivery environment.
  • Communicate clearly in writing, with confidence preparing concise updates, minutes and executive-ready material.
  • Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project or Smartsheet to keep work organised and visible.
  • Work comfortably with reporting tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI or similar dashboarding platforms.
  • Apply sound document and evidence management practices to maintain accurate, accessible and audit-ready records.
  • Understand modern delivery ways of working, including Agile or hybrid approaches, to support effective program coordination.
