About the Project

Is currently supporting a client with an event promotion campaign.

The marketing campaign has already generated a pool of warm leads through email/EDM activity. These contacts have already received communication about the event and have either opened the emails or interacted with the campaign.

The VAs will be responsible for following up with these warm leads, answering basic questions about the event, encouraging ticket purchases, and helping convert existing interest into sales.

This is not a cold-calling campaign.

Role Overview

Is looking for two confident and highly articulate Telesales VAs to support a 3–4 week event ticket sales campaign.

The successful candidates will contact warm leads who have already interacted with the campaign, follow the provided sales script, answer questions, and guide interested prospects toward purchasing event tickets.

The project has a defined sales target:

Goal: 60 tickets sold within 3–4 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

Warm Lead Follow-Up

  • Call warm leads provided by the client.
  • Follow up with contacts who have opened or responded to previous email campaigns.
  • Introduce yourself professionally and explain the purpose of the call.
  • Reference the event invitation or previous campaign communication.
  • Determine whether the prospect has questions or requires additional information.
  • Engage prospects in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Follow up with interested prospects as required.

Event Sales

  • Explain basic event information using the approved script and resources.
  • Answer common questions about the event.
  • Identify prospects who are interested in attending.
  • Encourage qualified/interested leads to purchase tickets.
  • Provide the appropriate ticket-purchase link.
  • Assist prospects through the next step of the purchasing process.
  • Follow up with interested leads where appropriate.
  • Record sales outcomes accurately.

Lead Management & Reporting

  • Work through the provided warm-lead database systematically.
  • Update lead status after each interaction.
  • Record call outcomes.
  • Track interested, undecided, converted, and unavailable leads.
  • Flag questions or issues that require escalation.
  • Maintain accurate records throughout the campaign.
  • Provide daily updates on activity and results.
  • Submit an end-of-day report.

Sales KPI

The primary campaign KPI is:

60 tickets sold within 3–4 weeks.

Candidates should therefore be comfortable working toward measurable sales targets and should understand that this is a results-oriented telesales assignment.

Calling Environment

The candidates will primarily be speaking with medical professionals and other business contacts.

Industry experience in healthcare or medicine is not required.

However, candidates must be able to communicate professionally with highly educated professionals and business decision-makers.

Script & Lead List

The client will provide:

  • Approved calling script
  • Full list of warm leads
  • Campaign/event information
  • Existing campaign context
  • Ticket purchase information/link

Candidates will not be expected to develop the sales script from scratch.

The campaign already has an established process, and the VA's responsibility will be to execute the follow-up and sales process effectively.

Schedule

The VAs must work during Sydney / Australian Eastern business hours because they will be contacting businesses and medical professionals.

Each VA will work:

30 hours per week

for approximately:

3–4 weeks

with a possibility of extension depending on the client's requirements.

Project Duration

The initial engagement is expected to last approximately 3–4 weeks.

There is a possibility of extension; however, this remains a project-based engagement, rather than an automatic transition to a permanent full-time position.

Reporting

Each VA will submit an End-of-Day Report covering:

  • Number of calls completed
  • Leads contacted
  • Interested prospects
  • Ticket sales
  • Follow-ups required
  • Objections/questions encountered
  • Outstanding leads
  • Any issues requiring escalation

Selection Process

VCP will initially shortlist candidates based on:

  • Sales experience
  • Telesales experience
  • Spoken English
  • Voice quality
  • Professional communication
  • Availability during Sydney business hours
  • Ability to work toward sales KPIs

VCP will then provide recommended candidates to Prego & Co.

The client is happy to review candidate profiles and voice recordings/reels before meeting the candidates.

Jessica and her client may then meet the shortlisted candidates before onboarding them.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means consistently working through the warm-lead database, having high-quality conversations with prospects, answering questions professionally, following the sales process, and converting interested prospects into ticket purchases.

The primary measurable outcome is:

60 event tickets sold within the 3–4 week campaign period.
