As a Project Associate, you will be working with our Energy Services (179D) service line to coordinate site visits for professional engineers by working closely with various departments to ensure all necessary arrangements are made and documents are available prior to site visits.

As a national premier consulting firm, alliant is focused on providing solutions to help businesses transform and thrive. alliant offers six different service lines to our clients and this role is within the Energy Services line, which assists companies implementing energy-efficient technologies and practices within commercial buildings to obtain the 179D tax deduction.  

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate site visits for professional engineers, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made for successful visits

  • Review construction documents to ensure engineers have all necessary information prior to site visits

  • Work closely with the government relations team to support relationships with building owners

  • Serve as a liaison between the engineering team and government relations team to ensure seamless communication and coordination

  • Maintain a high level of organization and efficiency in managing multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Utilize strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project goals

  • Demonstrate a dynamic personality and unparalleled sense of urgency in all interactions, both internally and externally

  • Present information effectively and professionally to stakeholders at all levels

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Preferred 1-2 years of professional experience (sales experience not required)

  • Comfortable calling on executive decision makers

  • Proven ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust

  • Highly motivated and results oriented

  • Strong skills in presenting, communicating, organizing, multi-tasking, and time management

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

  • High sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines

  • Receptiveness to performance feedback within a team environment is essential

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications

  • Candidate must reside or relocate to Houston, TX
