This role is an integral and influential member of a dynamic and customer-oriented team focused on our current and future product portfolio and go-to-market strategies. This role is a part of the leadership team and reports directly to the General Manager of Product Strategy and Market Development. This person will be an exceptional project manager, responsible to manage the implementation of specific strategic cross-functional initiatives for On-Highway and Vocational Product Strategy, Digital tools, and Market Development Teams. The person in this role is already seen as a leader, has high integrity, is focused on inclusion and belonging, is self-directed, drives complex activities to completion, is an expert communicator and anticipates the needs of others.

Position offers a starting salary range of $104,000.00 - $133,000.00 USD 

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience​

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Lead cross-functional projects defined by annual department goals. The current priority for this role is to be the Project Manager across the multiple Emission Regulations Work Packages.
  • Create and maintain a strategy deck that pulls together the collective emissions regulations strategy, goals, implementations statuses, open actions, risks.
  • Create a project structure, document repository and leadership governance to track actions and accountability across multiple work packages.
  • Define and implement a change management process that helps teams stay aligned and track emission regulation changes and impact to business.
  • Emissions regulations includes work on GHG, US, Canada, CARB ACT and Omnibus. It includes documenting gaps, near-term actions such as vehicle compats, as well as long-term product strategies put in motion.
  • This role will interface regularly with sales, pricing, vehicle and powertrain product marketing, segment and product strategy, engineering and compliance.
  • This person will work with multiple Subject Manager Experts and is not expected to be the subject matter expert on all topics, however, they are expected to strategically understand the landscape to help shape strategy and action across teams.
  • Report out in leadership and dealer forums along with work package leads.
  • Support leadership workshops and strategic planning for annual goal setting. Work in collaboration with other staff members with input from the leadership team.
  • Manage ongoing team goal tracking, reporting and communication across the strategic priority initiatives.
  • Lead and/or support defined cross functional meetings, such as TT/TN Global Forum and weekly Strategic Alignment Meetings.
  • Support cross-functional team execution and thriving culture as prioritized with General Manager
  • Manage and maintain the department and leadership MS Teams Channels.
  • Manage department culture initiatives and share key DTNA-relevant updates to team.
  • Support Town Halls and all-hands.
  • Participation in the social committee.
  • Provide Project Management mentorship within department, stay up-to-date on virtual collaboration tools.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, responsiveness, and accountability.
  • Delegate for General Manager in select meetings as needed.
  • Travel limited to 2-4 times per year unless special project requires additional travel.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • BS/BA and 5 years of relevant experience or minimum 8 years relevant experience in lieu of degree required.
  • At least 4 years progressively responsible project management experience required.
  • Candidate must be well-organized, able to handle multiple, detailed tasks and work professionally with various levels of DTNA management required.
  • Must have desire and ability to learn quickly, prioritize effectively, investigate and solve problems both independently and collaboratively, and manage different priorities efficiently.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications required.
  • Excellent demonstration of communication skillset required.
  • An attached resume is required.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Demonstrated expert skill level in understanding continuous improvement processes preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead continuous improvement activities preferred.
  • Experience working in a customer or dealer facing role preferred.
  • Knowledge of DTNA product marketing, strategy process, sales process preferred.
  • Proven ability to work in cross functional/ matrix organization preferred. · Workshop Management and facilitation experience preferred.
