Meyer Utility Structures is seeking a Project Administrator for our Fort Worth, TX location. The Project Administrator performs post-sales service functions including but not limited to setting up orders in Meyer’s ERP system, working with internal departments and production facilities to process project changes, and supporting additional tasks as directed by the Director of Project Management.


Meyer Utility Structures is an industry leader in the engineering design and fabrication of concrete and tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications. With over sixty years of innovative engineering and manufacturing expertise, Meyer has helped to author and validate many of today’s transmission industry standards and specifications.


What You’ll Do:

  • Manage a variety of post-sales service functions, including organizing projects into manageable production releases that align with production constraints and customer delivery commitments
  • Collaborate with Engineering and the Project Manager to meet material order deadlines
  • Coordinate with Modeling and the Project Manager to obtain customer approval for drawings
  • Work with the Project Manager and the plant to maintain project data within our software systems, including:
    • Organizing and maintaining project data and documentation
    • Communicating change orders and project notifications using our proprietary notification system
    • Entering and maintaining project details in JEE (enterprise software system)
    • Reviewing and modifying text-based data files to ensure data accuracy and system reliability
  • Identify and analyze moderately complex project-related issues and assist in developing solutions to support positive project outcomes by applying established procedures and policies
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and transmittal of shop orders and bills of materials
  • Support the Project Manager with expedited delivery requests for high-priority projects and strategic opportunities for strategic customers

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience with a minimum of two years of technical customer account administration
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide responsive customer support while fostering productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines while supporting multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing operation
  • Close attention to detail with data entry and auditing to ensure accuracy
  • Ability to identify potential risks and collaborate with the team to identify solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); familiarity with ERP systems and Power BI
