E11C DDS Annual Salary $65,347.17+ Full State Employee Benefits
Travel is Occasional: Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required care insurance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A master's degree and two years of professional experience
- OR a bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience.
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of professional-level experience in the above-listed areas for each year of the required education
Job Responsibilities:
- 1. Directs statewide activities related to the DDS Behavior Support Services unit including supervision of 3 PFR staff and 1 Admin Assistant, implementing sound personnel policies and practices, consulting with field leadership statewide to guide program implementation.
2. Chairs the SHRBRC to review restrictive plans to ensure individual right to due process.
3. Represents DDS in multiple statewide meetings pertaining to behavioral health planning and service delivery.
4. Reviews applications from behavior support providers to ensure only qualified providers are approved. Also addresses issues with existing behavior support providers.
5. Develops and recommends policies, rules, and regulations pertaining to the implementation of behavior supports programming and individual rights to align with division goals and state and federal rules.
6. Reviews reports to determine statewide trends and plans to address areas of concern.
