Programme Manager

We have over 200 talented employees working both on-site and remote/hybrid at locations:

• Danang: 81 Quang Trung, Hai Chau 1 ward, Hai Chau District, Danang
• Hanoi: Zodiac building, 19 Duy Tan Street, Dich Vong Hau ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivery and governance

• Plan, run and deliver one or more software projects, or a programme of related projects, on scope, schedule and budget.
• Define delivery methodology (Agile, Scrum or hybrid) and keep roadmaps, milestones, dependencies and RAID logs current.
• Track budget, resource utilisation and profitability, and forecast accurately.
• Identify risks early, escalate with a mitigation plan, and keep quality, security and compliance standards for regulated clients.

2. Stakeholder management

• Be the trusted advisor to C-level and senior executives at client organisations, especially in banking and fintech.
• Run steering committees and executive reviews, and report progress, risks and decisions clearly in English.
• Manage expectations, change requests and commercial discussions together with Sales and Account Management.3. 

3. Team leadership

• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, QA, BA and designers, onshore and offshore.
• Coach team members, resolve conflicts and keep delivery quality and morale high.
• Work with Talent Acquisition and Delivery leadership on resource planning, hiring and onboarding.

4. Continuous improvement

• Capture lessons learned and share delivery best practices across the company.
• Introduce tools and AI-assisted practices that improve estimation, reporting and delivery speed.

Must have

• 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager or in a closely related role (Programme Manager, Delivery Manager).
• English communication at B2 level or higher, written and spoken, suitable for client meetings and executive reporting.
• Proven experience working directly with C-level executives, especially in the banking or fintech industry.

Nice to have

• Track record delivering software, digital banking, payments, lending or core-system modernisation projects.
• Experience managing programmes with several parallel projects or vendors.
• PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM or SAFe certification.
• Familiarity with financial regulation and security standards (for example State Bank of Vietnam requirements, PCI DSS, ISO 27001).
• Experience with offshore or distributed delivery models and with Jira, Confluence or similar tools.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Engineering or a related field.
