Job Summary:

Responsible for leading and overseeing day-to-day operational deliverables of the Customer Demand Specialist Team, which is responsible for the demand management of the Global automotive customer backlogs and forecast demand.


Principal Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to ensure flawless customer service, operational efficiency, and profitability at higher complexity customer supply chain engagements

  • Driving improved process and work efficiency, inventory utilization, and operational excellence and coordination with all appropriate internal departments.


Job Level Specifications:

  • Lead and oversee day to day operational deliverables of the Customer Demand Specialist team

  • Provide tactical support to own and resolve internal escalations

  • Demonstrate and actively advocate Avnet’s core values

  • Schedule and plan resources to ensure employee holiday and absence periods are covered with minimum customer impact.

  • Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals.

  • Provide oversight, support, and direction to the employees in the operating unit in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.

  • Provide support with coaching, mentoring, and developing employees

  • Promote an environmental dynamic, that drives teamwork and collaboration amongst the team.

  • Maintain transparent communication. Appropriately communicate organization information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate email, IM, and regular interpersonal communication.

  • Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of the team.
