What You Get To Do:

The Program Supervisor plays a key role in delivering high-quality services to individuals by combining direct support responsibilities with program coordination and administrative support. This position ensures accurate documentation, effective program implementation, and compliance with regulatory standards while supporting team collaboration and individual outcomes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Provide daily supervision and oversight of all employees at Day programs. 
  • Monitor, coordinate, and ensure all services to the individual are delivered 
  • Program supervisors are expected to ensure all direct service shifts in their program(s) are filled  
  • Provide training for employees 
  • Conduct monthly staff meetings 
  • Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance. 
  • Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve. 
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.  

Qualifications

What Makes You A Great Fit:

  • Minimum 18 years of age.   
  • High school diploma/GED equivalent required. 
  • A two-year degree in related social services and/or two years of experience working in the field of developmental disabilities with supervisory experience preferred. 
  • Person-centered, patient, and kind

  • Observant and detail oriented  
  • Positive role-model for others and able to work on a team 
  • Committed to creating a respectful and collaborative environment 
  • Computer skills for documentation  
  • Good communication is key in this role. You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.

Through diligent research and planned Tim and Diane officially opened their first 15 person residential program in St. Paul, Minnesota in March 1976. Tim and Diane were the live-ins for that first program and they have continued their leadership of the organization since. Through the success of that program Dungarvin has grown to employ approximately 4,000 people who currently provide supports to over 4,712 individuals across 14 states.
