This is an exciting opportunity in Indianapolis, IN for a Program Quality Manager supporting Allison products.

The Program Quality Manager is a key member of the Quality organization focused on ensuring a positive customer experience and resolving warranty issues. The Program Quality Manager leads cross functional efforts to drive an understanding of customer issues, warranty, risk management of product & process changes, and effective communication of these efforts. The key responsibilities of the Program Quality Manager role include:

* Lead CPIT and/or IRT cross functional team's and associated problem solving to address Quality, Reliability, and Durability issues impacting the product

* Product Line Team Member focused on Quality and Risk Management of new launches and continuous improvement changes

* Evaluation of Warranty trends, identifying issues driving warranty, and working to develop sufficiency plans to address warranty issues

* Develop and recommend standard warranty extended transmission coverage accrual rates and achieve under 90 day and full warranty goals for products

* Coordinate with Program Quality team to continue improving methods and tools to gain better insight into product warranty and associated issues

* Communicate warranty and issue status to Leadership and Cross Functional Team's

* Provide support to the Field Performance Evaluation Director to develop SP501 plans and recommendations

The knowledge and skill sets required for the Program Quality Manager position include:

Required

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Strong leadership and problem solving skills

* 5+ year's experience in Automotive or related industry

Preferred

* Knowledge and experience of Allison Transmission products and processes

* Structured problem solving experience (example Red X)
