The Program Officer will lead district-level
implementation of the Schools Program in Chhota Udepur by strengthening
Computational Thinking, AI literacy, Innovation & Hackathon initiatives,
and Career Exploration across government secondary schools. The role focuses on
enabling teachers, supporting district education stakeholders, strengthening school
ownership, and ensuring quality implementation while contributing to
sustainable system adoption.
Program Implementation
● Coordinate implementation across
assigned government secondary schools in Chhota Udepur.
● Facilitate Intermediate
Ideathons, Hackathons, Innovation Challenges and learner showcase.
● Support teachers in implementing
project-based learning and Computational Thinking classroom practices.
● Conduct regular school visits to
provide mentoring and implementation support.
● Ensure quality delivery of
program milestones aligned with district and donor commitments.
● Build and maintain relationships
with DEO, DPEO, BRC, CRCs, Head Teachers and district officials.
● Support district review meetings
and government-led implementation planning.
● Strengthen ownership among school
leadership for long-term sustainability.
● Coordinate with district
stakeholders to integrate activities within existing education systems.
● Support Master Trainers and
educators during implementation.
● Mentor teachers through classroom
observations and feedback.
● Encourage peer learning and
sharing of good practices.
● Track implementation using
digital M&E tools.
● Document classroom practices,
case studies, photographs and learner stories.
● Collect implementation feedback
to improve programme quality.
● Ensure timely reporting and data
submission.
● Coordinate with Learning
Experience, M&E and Program teams.
● Support logistics for district
events and trainings.
● Manage multiple implementation
timelines effectively.
Requirements
Required Qualification and Competencies
- Graduate
degree in MSW or Sociology
- Minimum 2 to 3 Years of Experience on working with educators, government stakeholders, and learners
- Proficiency in Gujarati

Benefits
Salary: The pay
band for the position starts at Rs. 37,000 /- per month (cost to company) (The
