About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Program Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team. This role will focus on driving Agile implementation from the ground up, leading project delivery, and ensuring operational excellence across software product engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in setting up and scaling Agile practices, be a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and bring proven success in leading cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end Agile implementation, including defining processes, coaching teams, and ensuring adoption across engineering and product teams.
- Drive project and release planning for multiple software product line initiatives.
- Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, QA, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Establish effective scope, risk, and quality management practices to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Define, track, and analyze software engineering metrics to improve team performance and product quality.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks with mitigation strategies.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement across teams and stakeholders.
- Address complex project issues by working with stakeholders to resolve roadblocks.
- 12+ years of experience in the software industry with significant exposure to program and project management.
- Proven experience in implementing Agile frameworks from scratch in product-based organizations.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is mandatory.
- Strong background in project planning, release management, risk management, scope management, and quality management.
- Hands-on experience with using software engineering metrics to drive performance and quality improvements.
- Prior experience managing projects involving Java and Python technology stacks is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire, align, and influence teams.
- Analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality results with a proactive mindset.
