THE ROLE

We seek a Virtual Senior Program Manager in the Global PMO who will focus on Global Financial Solution technology projects, primarily ERP, CRM, Billing System Efforts, and reporting at an Enterprise level for Senior/Executive leadership.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Planning: work with leadership and cross-department teams to determine the scope of the ERP/CRM/Billing Systems, review project proposals, and set deadlines

Manging: coordinate with vendors to develop a Project Plan, Schedule and manage vendor assessments, and monitor progress

Integrating: oversees the planning, development, and integration of ERP CRM/Billing systems

Maintaining: manage the functionality of new ERP/CRM/Billing systems, as well as upgrades and modifications to current systems

Troubleshooting: track, analyze, and resolve issues with ERP/CRM/Billing Systems

Stakeholder Management: work closely with stakeholders, including the executive team, department managers, IT personnel, and end-users, to ensure the ERP/CRM/Billing system meets the organization's requirements and objectives

Project Intake Lead: process new project requests from the area of the business (vertical) to which you are assigned, understanding the strategic objectives, value proposition, organizational impacts, & resource needs for a new initiative and bringing together the necessary subject matter experts, functional leaders, & essential resources for scope & solution definition, planning, & project execution

Business Partner Relationships: Building and maintaining relationships with business partners in your assigned vertical to understand strategic objectives, support needs of the PMO, priorities, problems that require resolution, constraints, and interdependencies with other areas of the business or technology groups within the Company

BusinessPartner Key Project Alignment: Communicating and managing expectations with all key stakeholders and levels of management regarding the status and delivery expectations of all projects within your portfolio and critical parameters that affect their ability to be delivered on time and within strategic objective guidelines

Escalation Management: Strong ability to manage escalations of critical risks and issues that affect the ability to deliver projects successfully and within the expectations of company leadership

Connect Portfolio Objectives with Projects: Mastering all related project data in your area of the business, including delivery timelines, release dates of new software solutions, other critical interdependencies within or across projects, time logging, cost estimation, and tracking of estimated vs. actual levels of effort and project costs

Project Oversight: Maintaining an oversight relationship with all project managers assigned to projects within your portfolio to validate status, assist as needed with planning, resource acquisition, problem-solving, issue & risk management, stakeholder engagement, & keeping execution within the parameters of the project plans for effective management of expectations and reliability of delivery

Project Management: As capacity permits, direct management of some of the more complex projects within your portfolio as an individual who will be one of the most experienced in project delivery

 

WHAT YOU  WILL BRING

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent work experience.  
10+ yrs experience of
program or project management 
7+ yrs experience creating and driving large-scale technology and data-driven program management transformation plans 
• Advanced knowledge of business applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel Project, Teams, etc.  
ERP Systems experience (Microsoft D365 or Dynamics AX preferred)

Salesforce Experience (Preferably experience integrating with ERP)

• Working knowledge of key financial processes (Including Order to Cash (O2C), Procure to Pay (P2P) and Record to Report (R2R/GL)

• Effective Communication: Communicate proactively, effectively, and efficiently while presenting ideas clearly and persuasively to all organization levels. Excellent written and verbal communication (English)

• Exceptional Delivery: Demonstrated expertise in Program Management as a high-value deliverer, including scope determination, engagement of stakeholders, planning, prioritizing work, and identifying critical milestones

• Process Improvement: Increase delivery success by iteratively improving existing or developing new artifacts and processes across programs and the PMO. Apply the proper balance of creating value versus diminishing returns to increase efficiency, repeatability, alignment, control, documentation, reporting, and the capture of details critical to team success.
Risk Management: Work with stakeholders to identify potential problems, create mitigation plans, and minimize risk to project timelines

Facilitating Solutions: Discern objective information to address issues, including documenting the impact and utilization of the PMO escalation process; collaboratively problem-solve and adapt to achieve objective

• Be Reliable: trust will be your number one asset; follow through on what you are expected to do as part of your role; do what you say you are going to do and be aware of expected communication/project/ timeline

• Detail Oriented: at every level, the details do matter; unequivocally skilled in accounting for and confirming critical details; competent in identifying critical follow-up and drill-down questions even when you are not expected to be the technical subject matter expert

• Training Competency: mentoring peers as determined by growth and delegation, skilled at logically documenting processes and artifacts for ease of use by others, comfortable and professional in providing feedback and course re-direction to peers

• Context and Priority Switching: Solera is a fast-paced culture where the PMO is critical to the successful delivery of challenging efforts; capable of quickly switching context throughout the day and often within the hour while continuing to align with PMO framework; at times, will be required to pivot priorities with limited notice immediately
