Who You Are:
Galaxy Digital is one of the largest and leading firms in the Cryptocurrency space and is building cutting edge products, service and technology to help it grow and scale with the ever-increasing demand. You will be working with a unique and driven team building exciting new capabilities in collaboration with cross-functional teams and business owners. In this position, you will be managing multiple workstreams that are priorities for the entire firm to achieve long term goals. You will be a part of a change team that is leading various cross-functional initiatives of utmost important to the firm. In this role, you will manage projects from inception – working with business and product stakeholders, to execution – working closely with engineers and the stages of the SDLC, and any other corporate functions as needed. You appreciate a well thought out plan, care about best-in-class execution, and understand how to track and measure a projects’ impact.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with business unit(s) to solve problems and identify requirements related to new products
- Work with business unit to help translate requirements into deliverable specs
- Manage overall project lifecycle and implement project management processes to ensure excellent delivery
- Partner with groups across the company (finance, compliance, technology, operations and more to ensure accurate breadth and coverage for any specific project
- Work especially closely with engineering leads and help facilitate team agile ceremonies (stand-ups, grooming, team retrospective, and planning sessions).
- Identify and manage project milestones, tasks, success metrics, and risks.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and customers through handoff and closeout.
- Serve as a primary contact for requests and project asks from internal teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience in product or project management
- Experience with project management or program management practices and methodologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and multitask
- Comfortable working with ambiguity
- Self-starter with a strong desire to make processes more efficient
- Able to work effectively in a team environment with good communication skills
- An interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology
- Experience working with stakeholders across different functions to drive to a common goal
- Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, or some equivalent
- Entrepreneurial nature and drive to implement change
- Must be comfortable with complex and technical projects in a fast-growing environment and be able to quickly adapt to changes.
