The PMO Manager is part of the Systems Change PMO team supporting Systems Change leadership with various management reports. The PMO team functions as a shared service for the entire Systems Change Division providing accurate information, transparency and a clear understanding of the financial, delivery and managerial areas for our leaders in order for them to be able to make the decisions based on reliable data.
As part of the Systems Change PMO team you would be responsible for supporting the System' Application Development Pillar inclusive of the department’s leadership and project managers, our business stakeholders and our IT Finance, Systems Workforce and Controllers teams.
Responsibilities:
- Understand supported organization and application portfolio structure to be able to run department reporting, to coordinate and report on project’s progress and to align with Systems strategy
- Lead the annual budget planning process, quarterly forecasting and budgeting
- Coordinate budgeting process for department and allocate funds and resources to products and projects for the next year
- Provide subject matter expertise for the Application Development Pillar supporting Investor Services coordinating with dept heads, Controllers, IT Finance, Systems Workforce, etc.
- Maintain weekly department and business line financials reporting and provide insight on visible trends and variances to the original budget
- Work with Project Managers, IT Finance, Cost Accounting and other projects stakeholders to verify accruals are accurately forecasted and to maintain up to date forecasted figures for the department
- Assist Project Managers with vendor relationship management, invoice review, approval, accruals, tracking and payment coordination
- Work with leads on maintaining up to date workforce plan for the department, providing workforce analysis and reports and managing open requisitions
- Coordinate with Project Managers on monthly project status (RAG) reporting and prepare consolidated reports on project status, production deliverables and achievements for monthly reviews with Department Head and Systems Executives
- Gather information from the Leads and Project Managers to create other ad hoc reporting for high level managers and to provide status updates on cross-divisional initiatives and programs.
- Proactively work on process improvement activities to simplify and standardize Systems Change PMO operations
Requirements:
- Financial management and reporting experience
- Adept at dealing with ambiguity while creatively solving problems to achieve results
- Demonstrated experience managing conflict and confronting barriers to success
- Operation in a matrix environment and is comfortable interacting with peers, subordinates and senior leaders
- Great communication skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate across various teams
- Strategically build effective teams, leveraging shared strengths
- Ability tp motivate others to achieve organizational vision and purpose
- Expertise in highly specialized field or discipline which represents critical, unique skillset to BBH and had impact to business results
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Knowledge of project management and software development concepts and tools is a plus
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of SQL and technical acumen is a plus
- Experience working in a global team
- Bachelors’ degree in finance, computer science or other engineering or management discipline
