The Program Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a world-class manufacturing facility, ensuring readiness across equipment, staffing, operational processes, and validation activities. Working closely with Managing Director, and cross-functional stakeholders, the Program Manager drives project milestones, manages risks and dependencies, and ensures delivery within approved scope, schedule, and budget while supporting business objectives and operational excellence.
What will you be doing?
The Program Manager plays a key role in leading manufacturing transfer and facility readiness projects, ensuring equipment, staffing, validation, and operational requirements are successfully delivered. The role coordinates cross-functional teams, drives project governance, and ensures project milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues are effectively managed and escalated when necessary.
The position is responsible for maintaining project documentation, reporting project status, tracking budgets, managing resource allocation, and supporting workshops, presentations, and leadership updates. The Program Manager also applies project management best practices and continuous improvement principles to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with operational and business objectives.
Operating in a fast-paced global manufacturing environment, the role supports strategic initiatives such as manufacturing transfers, capital investments, operational excellence programs, and supply chain transformations. Success requires strong stakeholder management, effective risk mitigation, cross-functional collaboration, and a commitment to quality, compliance, health, safety, environmental, and sustainability standards.
What will you need to be successful?
The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, with at least 8 years of experience managing complex projects from planning through execution and delivery. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred, while Agile training is considered an advantage. The role requires advanced knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMP, Prince2, or PMI, along with proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Planview, and Excel.
In addition to technical project management capabilities, the candidate should demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. They must be highly effective in resource planning, business analysis, change management, and performance improvement initiatives, while being organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and influencing skills are essential, along with the confidence to present and communicate effectively at leadership level, drive results, coordinate project activities, and ensure successful project delivery.
