The Opportunity:

CACI’s National Mission Systems (NMS) group is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to lead a modern end‑to‑end ground solution supporting mission‑critical space operations. This role puts you at the center of delivering secure, resilient space mission management, advanced data processing, and cutting‑edge ground infrastructure. You will shape how national security missions are executed from space to ground using modern deployment approaches, agile methodologies, and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for contract and technical performance, guiding a multi‑disciplinary agile team to design, develop, and deploy capabilities that directly support critical national space missions. You will build trusted relationships with customers, subcontractors, and employees to drive both program success and CACI’s reputation as a mission partner.

  • Effectively communicate issues and solutions to the Government Program Office in a timely, transparent, and mission‑focused manner.
  • Translate evolving customer priorities into actionable, high‑impact work items aligned with space‑domain mission needs.
  • Communicate Program and Customer expectations across teams and decompose them into clear work items that drive mission readiness.
  • Develop solutions and track items to closure, ensuring continuous momentum toward mission objectives.
  • Maintain and foster a collaborative and friendly working environment that empowers innovation and problem‑solving.
  • Identify inter‑ and intra‑program dependencies that affect the delivery of space mission capabilities.
  • Remove blocking activities to ensure team progression toward critical customer priorities and operational timelines.
  • Rapidly assemble and execute focused cross‑disciplinary Government/Contractor teams to address cost, schedule, or technical program/contract issues—delivering decisive action when mission outcomes depend on it.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Available to work in-person at a CACI facility in Sterling, VA.
  • Clearance: Must have TS/SCI with CI poly.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related business or STEM field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of related experience.
  • At least 7 years of Project/Program Management experience.
  • Successful management of a hardware/software program of similar size, scope, and complexity—preferably aligned with mission-critical or space‑domain environments.Westfields or Intelligence Community experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead diverse technical teams supporting sensitive missions.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to drive solutions under pressure.
  • Subcontract Management experience.

Desired:

  • Full systems lifecycle experience, ideally spanning concept development through delivery of operational mission systems.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps processes and tools.
  • Experience managing an infrastructure, network architecture, or development environment team—especially in support of mission systems or space‑ground architectures.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,700 - $165,200
