Program Manager

About You

You are a Program Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments, leading complex software delivery initiatives through structured planning, stakeholder collaboration, and proactive execution. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at coordinating cross-functional teams while ensuring projects progress smoothly through defined milestones and governance processes.

You excel at managing dependencies, mitigating risks, facilitating communication between technical and business stakeholders, and driving successful project outcomes. You are passionate about maintaining transparency, protecting delivery timelines, and ensuring projects are executed efficiently while meeting customer expectations.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience managing software delivery projects within Managed Services or similar delivery models.
• Experience managing projects using stage-gate, milestone-based, or structured project delivery methodologies.
• Strong experience managing project scope, dependencies, risks, and Change Requests.
• Proven ability to coordinate technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Experience documenting project decisions, risks, client dependencies, and delivery progress.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience preparing executive project status reports and project documentation.
• Familiarity with AI/ML project delivery is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is desirable.
• PMP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certifications are highly desirable.
• Advanced English proficiency.

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

• Manage software delivery across multiple workstreams using structured stage-gate or milestone-based methodologies.
• Ensure formal client approvals and sign-offs are completed before advancing to subsequent project phases.
• Track and manage project dependencies, stakeholder participation, licensing, and customer deliverables.
• Monitor project scope and manage Change Requests throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify, document, and proactively mitigate project risks, issues, and client-related delays.
• Prepare and communicate project status reports to technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
• Coordinate communication across Engineering, Product, Delivery, and customer teams to maintain project alignment.
• Protect project timelines by proactively following up on pending approvals, dependencies, and project milestones.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and governance artifacts throughout the engagement.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Experience managing software delivery projects using structured project management methodologies.
• Strong experience managing scope, dependencies, risks, and Change Requests.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Managed Services delivery models and stage-gate processes.
• Advanced English proficiency.
