Position Purpose:

The Program Manager, Supply Chain Technology, is responsible for leading and delivering strategic, enterprise-wide Supply Chain Technology transformation initiatives. This role provides end-to-end oversight of complex, multi-year programs that are critical to advancing the company’s supply chain capabilities, systems, and digital maturity.

The Program Manager oversees multiple integrated technology workstreams within the Supply Chain Technology portfolio, ensuring alignment to business strategy, operational priorities, and enterprise governance standards. This role requires strong executive presence and the ability to effectively engage and influence senior leadership, including the CIO and members of the Executive Leadership Team.

In close partnership with Supply Chain business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, the Program Manager drives execution of technology-enabled transformation initiatives that modernize processes, enhance performance, and deliver measurable business value. The role also champions the adoption of digital innovation—including the practical application of Generative AI—to improve program delivery, decision-making, and organizational effectiveness across the transformation landscape.

Responsibilities:

· Lead End-to-End Program Delivery: Assume overall accountability for planning, directing, coordinating, and delivering complex Supply Chain Technology programs, including cross-workstream initiatives involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.

· Drive Strategic Technology Enablement: Leverage enterprise applications, digital platforms, and emerging technologies—including Generative AI—to create competitive advantage, improve operational efficiency, and support evolving supply chain capabilities.

· Apply Generative AI in Program Execution: Integrate Generative AI tools into daily program management activities to enhance productivity, accelerate analysis, improve documentation quality, support decision-making, and streamline stakeholder communications.

· Ensure Program Governance & Execution Excellence: Oversee all critical program elements, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and dependencies. Ensure alignment with broader portfolio and business objectives while proactively escalating issues and risks to leadership.

· Oversee Cross-Functional Workstreams: Provide delivery oversight across major project tracks, ensuring quality execution, integrated planning, clear interdependencies, and timely achievement of milestones.

· Develop Comprehensive Program Plans: Create and maintain detailed project and program plans outlining objectives, timelines, resource requirements, risk mitigation strategies, and contingency planning, leveraging digital and AI-enabled tools where appropriate.

· Manage Change Control Processes: Lead structured change management processes, including governance of scope, requirements, design modifications, and impact assessments.

· Lead and Direct Project Teams: Define roles, responsibilities, and decision authority for project team members to ensure clarity, accountability, and efficient execution.

· Communicate Program Status & Risks: Utilize data-driven insights and AI-supported reporting tools to collect performance updates and deliver clear, concise reporting to stakeholders, senior leadership, and business partners regarding progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

· Manage Portfolio Planning & Financial Oversight: Build and maintain integrated project plans across multiple teams, including staffing strategies and ongoing budget management to ensure financial discipline and transparency.

· Serve as a Trusted Advisor: Act as a strategic partner to Supply Chain Technology leadership by proactively identifying risks, raising concerns, recommending solutions, and identifying opportunities to modernize processes through automation and AI.

· Champion Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Promote a culture of innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance delivery models, optimize workflows, and embed AI-driven efficiencies within the Supply Chain Technology portfolio.

· Operate in a Dynamic Environment: Demonstrate adaptability and a hands-on leadership approach within a fast-paced, evolving environment inside a large enterprise structure.

· Foster Cross-Functional Alignment: Build strong partnerships with business, IT, data, and operational stakeholders to ensure initiatives are aligned with both short- and long-term business objectives.

· Maintain Executive Visibility: Prepare and deliver program status reports and ensure transparency with leadership, clients, and key stakeholders regarding performance and delivery outcomes.

· Perform Additional Duties as Assigned.

Location:

· GPC has two work locations to choose from, Duluth or Atlanta office.

· We offer a Flexible Work Policy that permits eligible employees to work a hybrid remote schedule.

Desired Qualifications & Experiences:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.

· Program Management Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience leading complex, cross-functional technology programs, preferably within Supply Chain, ERP, WMS, TMS, or related enterprise systems environments.

· Enterprise Technology Expertise: Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale technology implementations or transformations within enterprise environments, including multi-workstream initiatives with internal and external partners.

· Supply Chain Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution processes.

· Financial & Portfolio Management: Proven experience managing program budgets, forecasting, resource planning, and financial tracking to ensure delivery within approved funding parameters.

· Governance & Risk Management: Experience establishing and maintaining structured program governance frameworks, including risk identification, mitigation planning, and executive-level reporting.

· Change Management Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change efforts related to system implementations, process transformation, and adoption of new digital tools.

· Generative AI & Digital Fluency:

· Demonstrated ability to leverage Generative AI tools in daily work to improve productivity, accelerate analysis, enhance documentation, and support decision-making.

· Experience identifying practical use cases for AI within program delivery, reporting, stakeholder communication, and process optimization.

· Strong digital acumen with the ability to evaluate emerging technologies and integrate them responsibly within enterprise standards.

· Analytical & Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong ability to interpret data, generate insights, and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence without direct authority, and build alignment across business and technology stakeholders.

· Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience preparing executive-ready presentations, status reports, and strategic updates.

· Adaptability & Strategic Thinking: Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining strategic alignment with long-term business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Program or project management certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Agile, SAFe, or equivalent).

· Experience working within large, matrixed organizations.

· Exposure to automation, advanced analytics, or AI-driven transformation initiatives within supply chain or technology environments.

· Experience supporting startup-like innovation initiatives within an enterprise setting.
