Engages and manages cross-functional teams to identify roles, tasks, deliverables, dependencies, and schedules. Other duties as assigned. Ensures resolution and execution of system governance and standards. Develops and implements industry best practices for design and construction project delivery workflows and project controls. Evaluates current systems and processes to establish and maintain high standards for a comprehensive Center of Excellence program. Utilize regional subject matter experts to inform rationalization and standardization of the processes, and methodologies that reduce variation, and increasing efficiency. Reduces variation and increases efficiency in project delivery. Supports the execution of key initiatives for the Center of Excellence. Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the construction delivery process.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expert knowledge of local Department of Health Administration regulations, JCAHO / DNV standards, and other applicable codes of the construction industry. [Required]
- Expert knowledge of the design and construction industry and standard practices, and how they relate to healthcare facilities. [Required]
- Expert understanding of architectural practices including master planning, feasibility studies, medical planning, building design and construction documents. [Required]
- Comprehensive understanding of healthcare facilities space and functional programs in both acute and non acute settings. [Required]
- Excellent project management, financial analysis, and strategic planning skills required [Required]
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, Revit, CAD drawings and related documents [Required]
- Excellent oral, written and organizational skills [Required]
- Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and BlueBeam. [Required]
