The Role
Capco is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Quality Assurance – Testing (QA) Transformation Lead to uplift and accelerate an enterprise QA group, driving measurable quality improvement, automation adoption, and efficiency across all testing functions.
As a transformative consultant, you will lead Capco’s Financial Services client’s transformation toward a more mature, efficient, and AI-enabled QA capabilities, establishing governance frameworks, accelerating delivery of critical initiatives, and addressing capability gaps. Over time, you will embed standardized testing practices, lead end-to-end QA execution, and drive strategy, automation, training, and performance management through metric-driven accountability, positioning QA as a value-add function.
This Montreal-based bilingual role (French/ English) is ideal for a results-oriented leader with strong consulting experience, deep QA expertise, and the ability to influence executive stakeholders while successfully delivering complex QA initiatives. You will lead and mentor QA managers and teams across Capco and the client, overseeing demand management, delivery performance, and contractual alignment.
The successful candidate is self-driven and entrepreneurial, skilled in identifying client needs, designing practical solutions, coaching teams, and acting as a trusted subject matter expert to build lasting client relationships and ensure exceptional delivery outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Lead complex technology transformation programs, guiding delivery from strategy through execution
- Partner with senior client executives to shape digital roadmaps and modernize platforms across banking and financial services
- Serve as a QA Subject Matter Expert, providing strategic guidance on QA execution and strategy to improve delivery predictability, quality, and efficiency
- Manage QA teams and programs end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes across multiple initiatives
- Oversee QA delivery performance, driving backlog management, risk mitigation, and productivity improvement, such as embedding automation, analytics, and AI to accelerate testing and strengthen release confidence
- Accelerate test automation adoption through pilot programs and CI/CD integration
- Oversee multi-disciplinary consulting teams, ensuring quality outcomes and client satisfaction
- Drive technology innovation, including cloud enablement, automation, and data-driven delivery models
- Act as a thought leader within Capco’s Technology & Engineering practice, mentoring consultants and developing new service offerings
What We’re Looking For
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (verbal and written)
- Proven experience leading enterprise-level technology programs within consulting or financial services environments
- Experience in Quality Assurance, Testing Strategy, and QA Transformation across large, complex programs
- Proven success leading strategic QA modernization initiatives, including test automation, DevOps integration, and implementation of scalable QA governance
- Deep expertise in test management, automation, and governance tooling, including Automation Tools, BDD Frameworks, API Testing, Performance Testing, Test Management, Observability & Monitoring
- Demonstrated experience identifying and supporting business opportunities, contributing to proposals, and strengthening client relationships is an asset
- Strong knowledge of agile delivery models, DevOps, and modern engineering practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Strategic thinker who can bridge business objectives with technical implementation to deliver value at scale
