Azure Cloud Infrastructure Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a cloud infrastructure that uses Microsoft Azure cloud services. The role involves working closely with the development, operations, and security teams to ensure that the cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and reliable. The Azure Cloud Infrastructure Manager will also be responsible for monitoring performance, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure that meets the company's needs and requirements.
- Monitor performance, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
- Ensure that all Azure services are configured and deployed correctly.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to the Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Stay up to date with new Azure services and features and recommend their adoption as appropriate.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Collaborate with other IT departments to implement integration and data migration projects.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and standards for the Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Manage Azure cloud infrastructure environments, ensuring high availability and security.
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure policies, procedures, and standards.
- Work closely with development, engineering, and operations teams to ensure that our cloud infrastructure meets the needs of the organization.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
- Manage and mentor a team of cloud infrastructure engineers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and administration.
- Experience in managing large-scale cloud infrastructure projects and teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with cloud automation and scripting, such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Familiarity with ITIL, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud computing technologies, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Storage, and Azure Active Directory.
- Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in managing and mentoring a team of cloud infrastructure engineers.
- AWS Cloud Infrastructure is a plus.
- Certified Microsoft Azure Administrator or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Associate is a plus.
